Weekend Weather

Sunny skies and warm temperatures will be the rule this weekend as high pressure continues to dominate across the region. Temperatures on Saturday should top out around 74, and on Sunday we should see highs around 76, if not warmer. The next change in the weather will wait until Tuesday, with a cold front that will bring a slight chance for showers and moderate temperatures a bit.

Fall Break Weather Forecast

A cold area of low pressure will send us another wave of chilly air to start out our Saturday, before finally releasing its grip on the region, and allowing a warm up to begin on Sunday. However, Sunday morning we may see the coldest temperatures of the season, with lows dipping into the lower 30s, and possible areas of frost across the city. Warm air will make a full return by Monday, and next week should see temperatures mainly in the 60s.

Weather Update, Monday September 21, 2009

Monday evening rain chances will increase again as a large area of low pressure begins to push a cold front in our direction, however the storm system will stall out and then drift to the south and west, taking with it the chance for showers and thunderstorms. By mid week, the showers and storms should be out of the area, setting the stage for a great finish to the week.
